What today's CPA Practitioner needs to know about International Taxes
Description:
U.S. taxpayers with foreign transactions often face complex reporting requirements. Accordingly, to properly advise their clients, CPA practitioners in today’s reporting environment must be aware and knowledgeable of the litany of U.S. reporting obligations associated with international transactions (FBAR, Form 3520, etc.). This presentation will provide a high-level summary of the various reporting requirements applicable to foreign transactions, including potential traps for the unwary. It will also provide CPA practitioners with potential compliance options if their clients have failed to properly file one or more of these international information returns.
