Can anyone recommend a good tax software package? After about 35 years with the same software (which will remain nameless), I'm about ready to switch. I've had 4 errors within the last 2 seasons, 2 of which I had to report to my insurance company. They did the right thing by acknowledging their error, paying the tax penalties and correcting the software, but I had to face the client.
I don't think that I should have to buy software and then prepare the return by hand before e-filing it.
